Apparently gifs fuck on my computer so they basically flash and don't continue on with the correct animation, so it sticks on the drop shadow step I think.

Soften: 0%
Angle: 120
Pattern Overlay
Opacity: 37%
Use some kind of scanlines/cross pattern/etc,
Stroke
2-3px.

I sort of followed your guide, being I did not use the same vectors.
Here is my outcome:

hi im a noob to shop wanting to do a sig like these ive done the font and am ready to place the vetors behind the text ive downloaded the vetors from the link im now stuck at this point carnt sus how to get the vectors on to the pic any help pls?

its a little generic to get mad about...anyone can download packs of vectors and place them in a document....unless you created the actual vectors.... they aren't really taking anything from you....
