If I have 25000 XRD means I can get 7500 XRD yearly
300,000,000 (25,000/1,000,000,000) = 7500 XRD (30% APY)

To meet RTJL’s regulatory obligations, only node-runners that successfully complete KYC may be eligible for subsidy rewards.
Will this be forever or until it's a permission-less network when Babylon's main-net is launched?

More excitement from this project. Can't wait. All those eXRD I have are gonna get the staking earnings going. If I have to do KYC/AML for the staking I probably will. Especially if we're talking 30%.

It's avoidable via bitfinex but kyc is worth the APY, sadly there's sight of centralization in node running at least for now, if you look at my above comment. Subsidy only for those who goes through a kyc.

Would be cool for you to create a Validator node & the whole of HF to use it, it would also make sure that we're not using some shitty node.

Thanks for the info! I was privately speculating about the return rate and used 1b as the potential supply which gave 30% - should've posted my speculation publicly 🤣.
But anyway yeah so the advantage here is to get your staking setup immediately. 300m are released yearly regardless of how much is being staked, so for that first year we can nab 30% assuming there are 1b staked. Then after that first year assume all 300m of the new XRD are being staked, then the second year would return 300m/1.3b = ~23%. As the amount staking grows the APY will decrease, so don't dilly-dally on this!
Also this is assuming all 1b XRD are being staked. Imagine if for whatever reason only half of the supply was being staked, then that first year would return 60%!

APY would be around 18-22% because RTJL will be staking 25% of whatever the community will be staking
But 20% is also good return keeping in mind that price will go up as well

Interesting, I haven't finished reading the source yet. Still its best to get staking started ASAP as APY should decrease as supply increases.

I think we will only have 100 validators in the beginning, and my bet is community will pick from betanet validators rather than someone new. If that's not right, then I will be up for it. I have an access to cheap dedicated servers with quality uptime.

Amazing idea
You will have to swap them for XRD once the main-net is launched either via bitfinex or Instapass, you can scroll up and see more information about it in the thread or head to their telegram channel

You have to convert eXRD to XRD and keep them in radix desktop wallet.
There's no risk of loosing as your XRD won't be sent to node operator they will be locked in your wallet though you might loose stake reward if you stake with not so good owner

You stake on the Radix Network via Radix Desktop wallet, which will be released once mainnet is live on June 30th.
