What are you good at? (Skills):
  • Business: I am a final year college student studying business. When I finish in July, I plan on attending university to study business management. The reason why I have chosen this particular course is because I wish to expand my knowledge in multiple areas of business, as I have many interests. My strengths are: marketing, finance, and salesmanship.
  • Writing: The courses I study involve extensive amounts of writing through both written and controlled assessments. I aim to improve my writing everyday and one of the ways I do this is through my personal vocab list. I have a list of complex words that I either do not use or do not use frequently, and aim to insert them where necessary.
  • Gaming: I have been playing video games for many years. I own an Xbox One console and the games I mainly play are within the Call of Duty franchise. With that said, I have been involved in competitive gaming and it is something I enjoy the most because it involves good communication, which is something I'm very good at.
Why do you want to join the group "Notorious"?:
  • I want to be able to expand my knowledge in areas I am not knowledgeable in. I also want to share my knowledge in areas that I am confident in. Ultimately, networking and creating relationships with other users is the reason why I want to join.
What sets you apart from others, i.e., why should we invite you?:
  • I'm a very active user and have contributed a lot. If invited I would take advantage of this opportunity and involve myself as much as possible in the SF, as I do with the current groups I'm in.

The group atmosphere is very conducive to becoming better at your skills. I have enjoyed being apart of groups in the past, and am eager for more.
What sets you apart from others, i.e., why should we invite you?:
  • I am passionate about what I do, and hope to educate others. The skills I do have, are in demand for people to learn them. Helping others would be very rewarding, which would teach myself a few things along the way.

  • This is really hard for me, I'm staying in HF for long time, but i didn't go to post too much or ask too much questions. reason is my English was bad, i hope now my English is lil bit good to talk with a foreigner. so hope this will be a good chance to join and talk to people and get more friends and help each other. give a chance to show it

  • The userbar really appeals to me and I like the range of people you are recruiting "members who have a strong grasp of the work they do". Quality control and that is what makes this group appealing to me also.
What sets you apart from others, i.e., why should we invite you?:
  • I do not claim to know everything. I do know a lot when it comes to administering linux servers in most distributions CentOS being my favorite. I can install various applications and get them fully functional, I can secure a server via firewall port dropping, third party software installation, and other various means. I have pen tested my own websites and websites for clients who I have offered web hosting to, and if any vulnerabilities were found they were able to be patched. I think what differs me from others is my ambition. I do not know everything and I am always willing to learn more. This kind of group would be a great way for me to do exactly that.
