Yup, I agree. Although I wouldn't really feel that bad losing if someone brings out more tuts to compete for the first prize. Tutorials as submission if anything are HQ and help the forum out too (contributes to good SEO and more blog articles for HF simultaneously)
300 tuts would be more than what I can do in a year and HF's not my full-time job either.

That's great to hear, I'll also check with Legend leadership if they're interested in hosting similar contests. Its definitely a fun concept and we've hosted similar ones in the past (one upgrade per day for the month, or a large prize pool with a mixture of crypto, upgrades, awards, member products and services featured as prizes)

Btw i had a question how does the tuts submission work out. I just submit it to CAP after i make a thread in the relevant section. Also it doesn't need to be a blog right it can be a thread as well ?

Yeah, create a tutorial and send me a message with a link to it. Myself and the other leaders will check it out and if approved, points will be added. It can be a blog or a thread.

Cool Thanks. :)

I've been posting them in relevant sections (Hacking Tuts help you on progress towards the Bronze Tutorial award) and linking them to Cap in our convo.
I've also been posting them on the blogs as I've structured threads accordingly (blog posts don't have the 15 image per post limit so there's that)

Also, I agree with everything you just said. Me along with The Warriors didn't discuss the rules thoroughly and adding a potential maximum meme submit limit. But I can only say that Cap and everyone involved put A LOT of time and effort in this event. Shame it doesn't have more competition.

haha same goes for me :P Lmao . I anyway have to travel for the next 5 days so not entirely sure what will happen but whatever will happen will only take place after the 27th as thats when i come back.

I will only have 4-5 days to do something about memes/tuts . Oh well and the counter for points not getting updated really is making it more interesting as nobody actually knows what places are they yet so nobody knows what to aim for :D

Ohh FYI i have to again travel on 1st july till 4th.. Man i will be missing so many days in between LOL.

And i really do appreciate the time and effort the Group has gone through to come up with this Competition. Kudos to the Entire team for this.

Good luck bro, I'm rooting for you and for more competition to show. I extol those who willingly write tutorials for the forum while it seems memes may be easier points. It isn't an easy choice (I'm doing both myself atm, trying to maintain a proper balance between them)

If it's any consolation, writing tuts can get you closer to the Bronze Tutorial Medal & Golden Content award goals. I've personally eyed those for quite a while now and I should be able to get them within June itself now.

Thanks a lot mate. The awards along the way are a really great incentive to write along with the competition. The time constraint is what is killing me right now. But will do my best. :)

Looking forward to grinding it out haha.

300 tuts would be more than what I can do in a year and HF's not my full-time job either.

I must admit I didn't think out the tutorial part of the contest thoroughly. I immediately brushed it off because I'm not really skilled with advanced tech stuff enough to post a HQ tutorial. However yesterday someone from the Warriors offered to buy a couple of Bytes Bag awards if we submit a HQ tutorial, and it can also be a life tutorial. Well I didn't think of that earlier, I have some passions and I can definitely write a couple of guides, so I'll probably submit a few before the contest ends.

Also, my bad, I editted my last post. I meant 300+ memes the last day, not tuts lol.

I am shit at tutorials. I either make it really long and with too much details or I just make it quick and full of mistakes. Memes will probably be my saving grace for the top 3 spot.

Honestly I see the last 2 days of the contest to be the craziest.

Oh, yeah then I agree. It'd definitely it'd be a lowlife move to just hoard memes and post it at the end, the same concept with auction-sniping applied for a contest, jeez. My next few memes have a few that are related to the song submission, so I'm trying to get that in before I submit more. (almost 80% done, making some album art and finishing it soon)

Tutorials can be anything, doesn't really have to be tech-related. The Hacking Tutorials section has a bonus award for 10 tut submissions so I figure I'd go for that as well while I'm writing some tuts in my free time. They can be related to anything - marketing, music, design, e-whoring, life skills, fitness, opsec/osint, coding, reversing, photography, fashion - the list goes on. I know it might be a bit hard to write tuts with how easy meme points are in but I think some things should just be for the sake of HQ submissions and not just farming easy points.

It doesn't really matter, structuring mega-threads or having thousands of words isn't really 100% required for tutorials. Quite a lot of tuts can just e a few hundred words and dealing with anything simple (such as free trial, promo offers, etc).

Hopefully too many people don't pop out of the woodwork to attempt and snipe the auction. I guess I better go back to brainstorming & writing memes/tuts. Time's not really a luxury though atm

Yeah, it just went over my head that I can actually write guides regarding life skills. Just finished one and posted in the Health Section. I still have a few coming, and I'm not done with memes as well. About 10 days left for the contest, however I'm really busy with other things irl, so I really hope someone doesn't make that move and snipe the contest.

Good going, checked out your thread and it's great.
Goes into quite depth about exercising, various workout splits, and recommended supplements. Definitely a good thread & knowledge for beginner/intermediate lifters. Another idea would be a thread regarding diet plans, calorie tracking (deficit/surplus), common tracking apps, and portion sizes. Could also elaborate about other types of diets like keto/IF.

Yes! Thanks for the idea! I have a lot of knowledge about keto diets, went through it myself with surprisingly good results. This will be my next project. Thank you!

Ahh Man Life skills, this is actually a good niche to write tuts/threads on. Will keep this in Mind. Thanks bud.
