HF Freezing on Chrome? - Іntel - Jan 26, 2011

I just started using Chrome, and when I start chrome to go to HF, and just randomly, the HF tab of chrome freezes for 10-30secs - I can do stuff on other tabs but not HF. Is this common?

Must be you, I just switched to chrome and mines loading faster then ever before.

Mine works perfectly fine, always has.

Hmm, thanks guys. I guess it may be from all the add-ons I installed?
Take a look.

I just got chrome and I love it; don't want to switch back to firefox.

Sweet Jesus, that's a lot of add-ons.

I only have a pop up blocker, and a theme o.O

I do have an auto replay for Youtube also.

Haha, I know - I went crazy. There are about 5 or so more that don't show on the toolbar that I have; I think I should delete some and see if the issue resolves.

Clean your Temp, prefetch, etc. That will speed up your computer a bit and make your browsers a lot faster. You will be surprised at the results.

I recommend CCleaner to do this.

Thanks mate, running CCleaner now.

No bro Chrome runs really smoothly for me!

* - Qwazz - Jan 26, 2011

Everything is in working order for me and I almost always use Google chrome.
I have yet to have such an issue, it could be clashing with an add on you have?

* - Іntel - Jan 26, 2011

Thanks, I just used CCleaner and cleaned 11.5GB of shit. Still freezes when I start chrome and run it for the first time - I'll have to delete addons. I just find it weird because HF is the only website that ever freezes.

Also, it does't freeze on Incognito mode - meaning it has to be an add-on?

I just disabled EVERY add-on and it still freezes.

* - Cato - Jan 26, 2011

Chrome is fine for me.

I would disable my addons one at a time, and when it starts working, you'll know the culprit.

* - Іntel - Jan 26, 2011

Found the issue.

"FastestChrome - Browse Faster - Version: 4.0.0" is causing the freezes.

It was a really helpful add-on but I can live without it.

Weird. :s I guess I won't add on anything to my Chrome. I like how it works. Lol

I'm mainly using Chrome for the speed and add-ons. They're awesome, and now I understand what everyone meant when they said Firefox is shit compared to it.
