[TUT]How to play Gameboy Advanced games on your iDevice[EASY] - Magic4You - Jan 30, 2011 Before we begin you must have a JAILBROKEN iDevice... Step 1: Open up cydia and click on "Manage" (the tabs at the bottom) Step 2: Once you clicked manage it should bring you to another screen with 3 choices, chose "sources" Step 3: Now that you have clicked "sources", look at the top right of your screen and it should say "edit". Click that then on the top left of your screen click "add" Step 4: We are going to be adding 2 sources. Add both of these - http://sinfuliphonerepo.com - http://apt.123locker.com Step 5: Click "done" at the top right of your screen when you have added the sources. Now go to the FIRST source i told you to add. Once you have clicked on the FIRST source i gave you, search for "gpSPhone Cracked" and download it. After it is downloaded it should appear on your springboard/homescreen. Step 6: Now that it is DLed, go to the SECOND source i gave you. Once you have clicked on the second source you should see things that say "GBA ROMs Package 1" those are the games. They are organized, so for example P-Q would include pokemon games and other games that start with the letters P & Q. Now all you have to do it download the games you want and they will show up in the gpSPhone app that we downloaded. Then just play them (: I hope this helped. This is my first tutorial on this site, so dont flame.. ENJOY!! And if your having problems, just message me... * - darkkiler95 - Jan 30, 2011 you can just google that :( * - Magic4You - Jan 30, 2011 ya thats true. but i saved the work for that, and most of the people dont explain it good... if it helped that great, if it didnt then whatever. not like im trying to sell how to do it * - LeN - Jan 30, 2011 It's pretty self-explanatory when you get Cydia and you browse through their apps. Not that i'm saying it's completely useless but it's pretty useless. There're tons of detailed tutorials online but even before that, you'd find yourself looking through their apps already. * - Sud0 - Jan 30, 2011 Why jailbreak? Or what do you mean by iDevice? You could play GBA games with emulator. * - Magic4You - Jan 30, 2011 U need to jailbreak your ipod/iphone to get the GBA emulator on ur iDevice. an iDevice is ipod/iphone/ipad etc.. * - LeN - Jan 30, 2011 (Jan 30, 2011 01:39 PM)Sud0 Wrote: Why jailbreak? Again, i'm not trying to be blunt but this tutorial is pretty useless. Here's a question that you can answer, does redsn0w work on windows xp? I've tried jailbreaking 4.2.1 on redsn0w via Windows XP (i think service pack 2 or 3) and it seems to jailbreak it but the functions do not work as in i will go in cydia, reboot (when i download an app, it requires a reboot) and it gets stuck at the apple symbol. I'm talking about unteathered. * - Magic4You - Jan 30, 2011 If you are trying to jailbreak on 4.2.1 i suggest useing limerain as thats what i used.. and its unteathered * - Zniper555 - Jan 30, 2011 (Jan 30, 2011 06:18 PM)Magic4You Wrote: If you are trying to jailbreak on 4.2.1 i suggest useing limerain as thats what i used.. and its unteathered No, it isn't. limera1n is only working up to 4.1.0 * - LeN - Feb 2, 2011 ._. no one still answered me. Is redsn0w jailbreakable only on windows vista and 7? I tried windows but everytime i install an app which requires a reboot, it freezes at the apple logo so i can't boot it teathered. * - SoTo - Sep 12, 2011 The packages that i have tried to get dont work :/ |
