[Update]HackForums PM viewer [Source][VB.Net] - TLF-KoBE - Feb 1, 2011

*UPDATE*

I have released an updated application here. Therefore I am releasing this source along with the new application to everyone. Enjoy it!

Download the Source here

This is a preview of a Hackforums PM application I started today. It's coded in VB.Net 2010 and uses WebRequests to post/retrieve data. Currently it grabs one page of PM's, I do not have enough PM's to see what it looks like when you have over a certain amount. So after this post hopefully I will be able to add that in as well.

Current features:

  • Grabs PMs

  • Displays PM

  • Launch PM in Browser

  • Launch Senders Profile in Browser

Update
Features added: (note: these are not included in the download or the source code, they will be included when I release an update)

  • [x]Reply to PM's

  • [x]Grab all pages

  • [x]Compose PM's

  • [ ]Cache to view PM's offline

  • [x]Option to stay logged in (save cookies)

  • [x ]Option to save login info

  • [ ]Multiple Folders

Edit: I lost a lot of files on my computer and this project was one of them. For anyone interested in doing something like this. PM me. I don't check PM's on here as often as I used to, so if you REALLY need to send me a message, http://tech.reboot.pro is the quickest way.

That is soooo cool! I love it! =)

Damn, this is nice.
I was thinking about this project, but then decided that I should wait and learn more VB.

Are you using a regex to get the info?

No, I dont like RegEx, ive never really used it. String.Replace wasn't working to well either so I made a few subs to help parse out the info. I'll PM you the source if you'd like.. you release some good stuff.

@Acє™,KingCobraXD : I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the feedback. Don't forget, PM if you want to check out the source.

I feel like this would go hand in hand with my HackForums Friends list :)

I thought about that when I was making it. Could definitely combine them together.
