[Opinion][Preview] HWID System by KoBE [Encrypted HWID + Online Management]
Thank you for viewing my thread. I would really appreciate your opinions. First thing is, whether you think there is a need for such a program. I've seen many attempts at making something like this (GUIDtech) but they havn't been very good. My question I guess is, would people buy it? If so, buy the service (Me give them a username password, then they use the key and I host the HWID server.) or Buy the System including the PHP files.
Here are the features:
Easy to implement
To use the system in your project it only takes 4 lines of code.
Unique Key
Each user is given a unique key to use in their programs. What it does, is encrypt their HWID and then sends it to the server. Before that, the key is salted with a Master key to prevent decryption by intercepting the message.
Message from server encrypted and Unique
After validation, the response from the server is encrypted to prevent crackers from gaining access to your program. Each response from the server is Unique preventing crackers from sending fake response to the program (ie redirecting traffic via hosts file)
Web Based System
Once logged in, you can add/remove HWID's instantly with immediate effect.

Now that that's over, I would like your honest opinions about this. Also, if anyone is interested, it would be awesome if I could get some people to try and crack this. Pm if you are interested. I would consider giving this away for free, but I had very little experience in PHP before this project so I've been putting in some work! Also, there are plenty of HWID systems out now for free. This one IMO is better though. Please share your thoughts..

Home and Learn is a great site. Helped me TREMENDOUSLY when I was working on the PHP for this. I highly suggest anyone learning either VB.Net, C#, or PHP.. check it out.

If your going to get people to try and crack this you may want to get a new secret key as it will be harder to decrypt and encrypt the HWID. (Am I right?)

I like the idea of it all but security would be key... and my idea of security is if you are a good cracker then you will be good at protecting a project...

Well yeah, I would make a new random key. I just want to get a general idea on how solid this system is.

I'm not a good cracker, I can get passed normal HWID protection, as many people on HF can. I don't think any program is uncrackable. I just would like to see if this is atleast hard to crack, instead of easy like every HWID system on HF. I think this would be a lot harder considering each user would have a unique key, salted with my master key.

I think you should try to make kobac crack it... he have cracked alot of protection systems on HF and if he cant crack it, it is god damn safe! :)

Im thinking about selling it, I'm not sure if am going to sell the system with resell rights, or just sell the service and let people use it. Or perhaps both.. that's what I'm trying to get people's opinions on. And at what price I should set it at.

I say you sell the entire system. My justification:
- Application Developers have a better overview of their users.
- Application Developers have more control over the server's up/down time.

I honestly wouldn't buy this since it could be bypassed easily. But it will be great if you release it for free and let others learn from it and probably even make it better.

I don't think this can be bypassed so easy. I mean, I know it CAN be, but definitely not as easy as the HWID systems that are on HF.
