How to Set Up DarkComet RAT 3.2 with proXPN - F4T4L 3RR0R - Mar 21, 2011
Okay this is my first attempt at a HQ tutorial so please bare with me if I'm not perfect.
You need:
DarkComet RAT
proXPN http://proxpn.com/download.php
No-IP Updater Client http://www.no-ip.com/downloads.php
Step 1.
Download DarkComet RAT 3.2 (or latest version) from http://www.darkcomet-rat.com/
Step 2.
Place the file in its own folder on your desktop.
Step 3.
Download proXPN and make a free account. Install proXPN and enter your credentials in the window and click connect.
In a few seconds you will see an IP address as shown below. Write that down.
THEN YOU NEED TO GO TO NO-IP.COM AND MAKE AN ACCOUNT.
THEN CREATE A NEW HOST AND ENTER YOUR PROXPN ASSIGNED IP IN THE IP FIELD.
Then download the No-IP DUC (Updater client) and run it. Enter your username and password, select your host, and click refresh. You'll need to run this updater when running DarkComet and proXPN.

Step 4.
Open up DarkComet by clicking client.exe.
Step 5.
Click Edit Server>Server Module
Step 6.
When you see this, have your settings as I have them, and click Generate a few times.

Step 7.
Click on Network Settings
Under IP/DNS, put the NO-IP ADRESS HERE
Under port, put a port of your choice. Any port except the basic 80, etc.

Then click Test Network. If all the results are green, you're good. :)
Step 8.
Then click Module Startup. In this section, you may choose what you want, but choose wisely.
Step 9.
Proceed to Module Shield. Again choose whatever server protection you want.
Step 10.
Don't use the keylogger, as you should wait until your slave is connected before activating it.
Step 11.
In the hosts file, you may add what you want, if you want to block people from virus scanners, block the web addresses but leave 127.0.0.1 where it is.
Step 12.
Choose Icon is pretty self explanatory. Choose an icon or leave the default.
Step 13.
I haven't used the plugins area as I don't have any plugins. So I can't explain this one.
Step 14.
File binder binds your server.exe to another file. (preferably another exe)
Step 15.
Build Module :)
Make sure output extension is .exe
Compress Executable should be disabled
CHECK save profile settings after build
BUILD SERVER
Save it where you would like, then close the Server Editor.
You are back at the DarkComet UI.
Step 16.
Click +Listen
Enter your selected port.
Uncheck Try to forward automatically (UPnP)
You're done!
Wait for your friend, or slave, or whatever to connect and you will see them pop up in the connections list.

No problem havoc. And rock that is only true if ou have UPnP on your router.

I had that problem today, dont select the downloads tab you get it off main page

No port forwarding is required. This will work with any VPN service.

there is no link on the home page.

It really isn't that hard. Click on the download tab. Then click download. Then check the three boxes and hit download.
