[TuT] on how to trace people in omegle and chatroulette - centron - Apr 8, 2011
this tut is going to show you how to trace people's location on omegle and chatroulette by getting their ip address.
step one
download a program called wireshark. you can get it here

once you have that downloaded, install it and open it.

step 2
go to where it says capture and click on your interface.
you will now see something like this

step 3
open up your web browser and go to omegle(or chatroulette). open up anothe
tab and go to this site http://www.whatismyip.com/tools/ip-address-lookup.asp

now go back to omegle and start a video chat.

while you are chatting, youll notice that a bunch of blue lines will start showin up in wireshark. those are the packets that are being sent from your pc to the stranger on omegle's pc. in wireshark notice where it says destination. under it the blue lines will have either your your ip address or the strangers ip address. right click on any blue line that doesnt have your ip address under the destination and click manually resolve address.

a little box will show up. copy the numbers.

go to your web browser and paste the numbers in the the what is my ip tab.

and presto! you have their location. us ip's will give you more info than forein ip addresses
