[vb2008] Make a spam bot only spam a particular window? - The-Black-Raven - Aug 9, 2009

i made a spam bot thats somewhat based off of this

https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=77895

but the problem is that if i click another window it spams that window. is there a way to make it only spam a certain named window?

also: is it possible to read the box of a chat room and when someone says "hello" it posts "Hello there" or will that require some decodeing of the chat program

yah, use C++ so you compile .dll's

I don't believe you can make it run in the backround
with vb .net unless you know API.

Use get active window and make it spam if active window = txtbox (textbox = the window you want to spam)

(If i help, +rep. I notice that i am getting no rep for helping but some people have rep and do nothing...???)

You could specify the window name to use, e.g.
AppActivate("Notepad")

thanks they works great :D

is there a way i can keep it spamming that window is i open another window?

You won't be able to do it in the background of your computer.
But you could make a simple chat spammer
that would put the text in 1 window and send it
using a simple sendkeys.send method.

Check this out 2 do it.

thats how mine works, what i ment by background is that i can do other things while it spams

Once you open a new window such as a chat box or a web site it will enter the text into anything you click on that can receive text.

And vb.net can compile .dll's.

You're a joke, Obviously I don't code "Spam bots" there gay and what is spamming
going to do? Nothing... So get off me...

And I wouldn't compile dll's in vb.
I would just use C++

Yes he is correct.
but I recommend being more specific when your using AppActivate

Ie

AppActivate("Proxy List.txt - Notepad")

just in case the user has more then 1 notepad open 😉

It may be even wiser to use SetForegroundWindow, because there defiantly can be windows with the same title. In case you are having trouble getting the HWID, here is a complete function:

Code
Sub SendKeysToApplication(ByVal appTitle As String, ByVal keys As String)
        ' Find the other application.
        Dim hWnd As Integer = FindWindow(Nothing, appTitle)
        ' Exit if not found.
        If hWnd <= 0 Then
            MessageBox.Show("Application not found", "Error", _
            MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Error)
            Exit Sub
        End If
        ' Make it the active application.
        SetForegroundWindow(hWnd)
        ' Send the keys and wait.
        SendKeys.SendWait(keys)
    End Sub
