[TuT]How to grab a icon from a exe without opening the tool.[Images included] - Hopsin - Apr 25, 2011

Ok let's start - Fully written by Hopsin.
Things you need:
  • The tool which can be downloaded from official website
  • The executable you want to get the icon from.


Download the tool and install it,after that open it.
It'll look like this:
Spoiler (Click to View)
Press [Image: 56ARI.jpg] to browse your exe:
Should be something like this:
Spoiler (Click to View)
Open the executable,It'll show you the icon from the exe.
Here is an example:
Spoiler (Click to View)
So if you want to save it press the save button and it'll promt you this:
Spoiler (Click to View)
When you want to save it look like this:
Spoiler (Click to View)
Done,That's it! The icon from the executable:

You can also use the feature drag n drop :)

ResHacker is freaking out on my computer now. This really comes in handy.

The one i am providing is more friendly and easy in use. Anybody can grab an icon now :D
