Dropshipping + free online shop? - haraaz - Apr 25, 2011

Hello

I'm thinking about starting an online shop and sell things by dropshipping. I'm just wondering, are there any free services to use? Like free website, free online shopping script to install or etc?

Dealextreme, focal price and loads of other Chinese sites offer free shipping with dropshipping options, but often have long shipping times.

[spam], watch out, sends to paypal address if you don't have a selling site and apply. Your cannot sell via ebay and drop ship there...

the chinese places are cheap, but be prepared for a shit load of negative feedback as most of their stuff is garbage takes an average of two weeks to a couple of months for delivery.

This is true, ebay closed me for selling fake beats...

Yeah, I noticed there aren't any genuine brand electronics from china, just bad replicas.

However, I'm thinking about clothing...
There seem to be a very large apparel market in china/japan/korea and judging from pictures it seem to be good quality?

My main concern is, will there be any costs to my customers, if the company sends the items directly to them?

If I choose free delivery and deliver directly to my customers, I would profit. But then I don't know about hidden fees and the waiting time...

But if I instead choose some other kind of delivery option, it would get too expensive for me and I would not profit.

Please give me some advice as to what to do.
