Ok so i was wondering are there any botnet tutorials that work with vista? im not sure if the problem is vista but i tried java botnet it wouldnt connect to my server i have tried bassically all the C++ tuts but they all get fatal errors while compiling
so are there any that work for vista or if you guys know how to fix these problems that would be nice also
if i ever do get my botnets working what is the easiest way to make money with them
and also are there any bots that are like rats and keyloggers along with bieng a bot
ive been reading threads and they suggest not to make your own irc server because it will lead back to you so are there servers that allow botnets and if not how do you not get caught if you are using a server on your computer

1) Most C++ bots do work on Vista if you having problems then install VB 6 and the SDK with Service Pack 5.
2) Selling them.
3) Some bots do have keylogers in them. Some NzM that I know of do. You can find others but I don't know really which ones.
4) Making a server on your computer won't allow many bots to connect to it. Also if they do end up tracing the botnet back to your computer then it would not be that hard to find you and press charges.

Ok i have all the stuff installed but i still get fatal errors and most of the c++ tutorials somewhere in the replys or something say u need xp and ya i know that y i was wondering if there are servers that you can go on for botnets or how should i do that? and also in the thread i meant like are there proxies and vpns that work to gether so you could have like 10 vpns running so you couldnt be traced back?

could you link the service pack compatible with vista/7? because everyone i try doesn't work

I couldn't find any that worked with Vista but i just installed a VM with XP and then just installed it on there.

It's because you have to change some things up in the setup files.
If you're going by brent's tutorial, then DL the one he has in there and unpack it.
Make sure you unpack to a folder on your desktop, making things easier.
After you do that, go into the folder and open the file named sp598ent.stf with notepad.
Once open, look for this line:
13 Group 28 36 38 29 30 32 26 27 14 25 16 17 20 18 19 15 39 21 22 24 23 43
replace that line with this line:
13 Group 28 38 29 30 32 26 27 14 25 16 17 20 18 19 15 39 21 22 24 23 43.
Don't close it just yet, though.
Find these lines:
36 Depend "27 ? : 37"
37 IsWin95 CustomAction "sp598ent.dll,CheckForMDAC" and delete them.
But, make sure you leave a space where they used to be.
Now save it as sp598ent.stf. And close it. Now, run the setup.
And, there you go. happy compiling.
NOTE: this is just a method to get the service pack5 to install on vista/win7 computers. This will be pointless unless you have the SDK.
