Website Idea's Comment! New Idea - PhirewireNET - May 11, 2011

Several things constantly pop into my head here are a few ideas that i would like your opinion on;
  • MixStudio
    A site which contains, remixs, and other non-labeled forms of music. DJ's can sign up and sell there music threw a custom page or put free downloads up. Or you can stream from the site.

  • (Name Not Though Of)
    Ifolio, Files, Folder, Binder. (possible names)
    Basically a place for people to upload and organize there stuff. Each person would receive a custom URL: Name.SITENAME.whatever
    They would be able to customize there stuff into sections or do whatever they like with there page.

  • MyResume
    Something to change the future, a lot of work goes into Resumes these days and everything put in isn't always truthful. MyResume would allow people to sign up for a Resume give the info to there employer, and Employers can edit sections relevant. Thus Resumes could be easily ported and kept up to date. We are a tech society.

  • World Debate
    You enter the site and you it gives you something to debate about, you can skip or debate about it. You enter the info you want about said topic then someone else will enter theres. When you get the other persons a email is sent to you from the site (Spoofed email) and you reply, the other gets your response the same way.

If your interested in any of these ideas, or my other ideas feel free to contact me. Please let me know if you want to do something with these ideas.

Will edit grammar ect later.

Yeah I like the iFolio idea. Sounds awesome.

The iFolio idea sounds like web hosting (Or dropbox, if it's non-public). What makes it different?

* - PhirewireNET - May 12, 2011

You have the option to keep your Folio Private, or public.

You can do the same with Dropbox: you can keep your files private or distribute some publicly.

You have to make something game-changing for people to want to use something. For instance, Facebook was game changing compared to Myspace.

MyResume seems like quite a good idea.

If done right, I see it being very successful.

Indeed a very good, and very original idea.
Suggest you take that one and run with it (+ edit it out of your original post)
This type of idea has the power to revolutionize the world.

Well Ifolio would be more powered towards, Public organization of photo "albums" and other media albums".

Examples:

It would be organised like this but with subtitles.

Can you fix this for me? The word 'there' should be 'their' in this instance.

The lack of comments for it make me want to remove it, so I'll probably just delete it.

YOU HAVE AN IDEA THAT PEOPLE CAN "STEAL" THESE IDEAS .
you shouldnt be posting such awesome ideas here .

by the way , good thinking .

I have a very good idea. ;)
A site where you post website ideas but copyright them before, then users buy these rights.

The OP has no worries..

The average HF member is not capable of dealing with such ideas in ways that would take advantage of the potential within the ideas. And the ones that are capable of such deeds are usually respectful enough to either ask to use the idea, or would make an attempt to be apart of the OP's team. The chance of someone stealing his idea(s) is there there, but not nearly big enough to actually worry about it too much.
