Morph3s chat server/Client source included WITH GUI - Morph3s - May 17, 2011 Hello HF I've coded this chatting server + client, It uses sockets to send and recieve connections So far it doesent support mutiple connections, but i will do that in some time ;) I've coded this in 2 days The gui modules it uses, is Wx.Python Please any feedback on improving my code will be Appreiciated Screenshots of the Server Edition: [IMG]http://i55.[censored].com/sxdvfq.png[/IMG] Screenshots of the Client Edition: [IMG]http://i53.[censored].com/2cqe05x.png[/IMG] Client source code: http://pastebin.com/JWQZwqE1 Server source code: http://pastebin.com/Ru8DQe14 Known bugs: 1. Problem closing the windows(Haven't looked into the reason why it does that yet) 2. When u close the program, some time after (Untill reboot) It will say that the port you used is still in use(Therefore if you're using the program twice, use different ports!) Howto use: Pretty straight forwarded, but heres a little tut 1. Open the server version 2. specify a username 3. Press options 4. Enter your LOCAL! ip address, and a port number you wanna use 5. Press open server 6. Wait for someone to connect 7. Open Client version 8. Press options 9. Specify Ip and port of the server 10. Specify username 11. Press connect! 12. Done?! \\Discuss * - Jayro - May 17, 2011 Looks nice, the only thing im not fond of is the Gui. None the less, props!
