[Release] Spotify Account Generator Leecher Edition - irenicus09 - May 29, 2011
Spotify Account Generator is an application that can generate free Spotify Accounts with completely random profiles. It has been written in Python and I wrote it just for the sake of testing my GUI coding skills with WxPython. This is released here for educational purposes only, and I take no responsibility for your actions with this tool.
The final application build for Windows is around 8.4 mb, where as the Linux build is somewhere around 15.3 mb. I know a lot of you might be shocked at the size of these huge binaries, but that’s the only downside to python since it’s not a statically typed language like Java, etc.

Known bugs: The about box in Windows doesn’t resize properly which could have been fixed but I didn't really bother with it as it works fine. No other bugs at the moment that I know of. The builds have been tested to work flawlessly in XP, Linux and even by running the Windows build on Linux through Wine.
If you want to run it from source or build it for your platform you can take a look at this thread: Click Here
I don’t think I’ll maintain this in the future, anyway if you find this useful don't forget to write your feedback, etc.
Ciao!

Sorry but what does this do?

I don't know why it's so hard to understand lol.
I mean the title of the thread clearly states that this is an account generator for Spotify.
Anyway just in case you didn't know, Spotify is a peer to peer based online music streaming service...but the catch is they offer free account for only a handful of countries based on Europe, that doesn't include America, Asia, etc. and you can't even sign up for a free account if you are not geographically located in those European countries. Also the free account has a limitation of only 20 hrs, so once that's finished you need another account if you want to continue using their free service.
This application helps you bypass the geographical limitations, but also you can register a free account at your convenience when ever you want...without going through all of the hassle.
Hope I've been able to clarify your misconceptions, etc.
