My position on advertising...and PM advertising - Omniscient - Apr 12, 2008
I just want it CLEAR that PM spamming will get you BANNED and your URL will forever be on the censor list. I also don't allow threads or posts to advertise competing sites. However IF your linking to another site as a SOURCE for an article, tool, or something useful and relevant then I have no objections.
I will also allow members to add signature links to sites provided the text is regular size and that the site isn't in my ban list such as TRH. And don't think doing tinyurl redirects will get by me either.
Anyone breaking my policies will just get banned. I think it's fair that at HF we shouldn't be under spam attack from sites trying to create a member base. HF was built without one single email or forum spam. Everywhere I advertised HF I was allowed to.
Sites that use BS techniques to advertise don't normally last very long. Their traffic is unnatural and they quickly die as no one joins and the small group gets bored. HF has 40-50 signups EVERYDAY...more than enough fresh blood to keep this place interesting.
Do we have a lot of n00bs...absolutely. We do...you can either choose to ignore them or find a walled-garden site to join. HF doesn't give a shit if you just bought your computer yesterday. We help those we can and ignore those we can't. There are also a TON of n00bs here claiming they know something when in reality they are script-kiddies. It's the quiet members here that are the most dangerous.

Looking at the member list...TRH has gotton alot of their members from HF...that is just sad when you think about it...

What's this TRH anyways. And about the n00b thing, Yes there is alot of noobs here, and more joining everyday, but i must stress to everyone, that EVERY single one of the best hackers, and hackers on this forum was noobs one day, instead of laughing at them or flaming them, we should instead praise them.. As one day they could come back and just tottally fuck with you in more ways that you'd think possible.
I feel that noobs are hackers and skiddies are good for hackforums. I also think that it's about time that people start helping these noobs on this forum.. And when we do, they will post their tutorials and methods on thing's that they have learned.. maybe even thing's that we've forgotten or missed out on posting..

It's the best hacking forum on the net.. And aslong as everyone keeps posting up good infomation and helps others all the time if possible.. im sure we could easily double our user database in the next few months.

i heard a lot of the tuts on there were stolen from HF. I'm not a member and haven't even visited the site cuz Cancer's a douche. I propose that members from HF group together to find any vulnerabilites in TRH and hack the crap out of it... oh and no i dont like spam... that's one unraised hand for me please.

You want to destroy TRH? Simple. Their hosting packages is based on bandwidth. If you flood them with packets and heavy bandwidth they will probably go broke and have to close the site down. Also they have to pay in advance...so let's say they have $20 in their account...About 50GB of bandwidth and their site goes down until they can pay for more.
A few botnets setup and they are ruined. :)
Not that I would do anything like that mind you. hehe

Every one of them is called a 'hacker' there, and they all have hacker alignment, which says they are either white/black/grey hat, so I think they're pleased with that the most. 🤗
