FULL SCHOLARSHIP!
As I started to take a shower earlier, I received a knock at the door with the words, "You have a letter from your college".
Upon asking what professor it was from, I got very excited.
Since I keep most of my personal life a little secret, I've been waiting for a month on word for a scholarship from my college for my work in the honors department!
I open the letter and what is it? A congratulatory letter giving me a scholarship for full tuition and fees.
I'm still completely ecstatic! I already receive a state scholarship that pays for my rent and some help from my grandmother every month as well.
This puts me in FANTASTIC shape and I am simply overcome with joy right now...
Getting this took some doing as I hadn't heard from them for a while, but with a kind and very detailed letter, she was much more encouraged to give me one of the four remaining scholarships.
So it also goes to show you that getting in touch on a personal level about things like this certainly does help.
Things I did in my first year as an honor student:
- Worked in a Biochem lab with one of the greatest professors at my school.
- Got my name on a poster for helping a graduate student with his thesis.
- Did surgeries on mice for the study of inflammation at a Medical College.

As it would be nice for my Parents to save the money, got brothers, So it would be very helpful if I got one. ^^

That's great. Now you don't have to worry about HUGE student loans that will leave you in debt for 10+ years after you graduate. I had to join the Army to get free college :(
