Webserver security analysis - ki4jgt - Jul 12, 2011 I have just started a Python server which runs through Tor. I would like some help in securing it. I am a total noob at servers, so be gentle LOL ;-) I was wondering if you would mind assisting me in learning it's weaknesses. I know I have a DDOS problem (500 KB/s connection) or if you could tell me some of the common server vulnerabilities? * - xsysrqx - Jul 14, 2011 what is the url I am always happy to help. I am totally new to all this as well. * - ki4jgt - Jul 14, 2011 (Jul 14, 2011 11:58 AM)xsysrqx Wrote: what is the url I am always happy to help. I am totally new to all this as well. You know you don't have to route everything through it don't you? * - xsysrqx - Jul 15, 2011 No, I didn't know. how would I go about not route all the web traffic thouthg tor privoxy. * - ki4jgt - Jul 15, 2011 (Jul 15, 2011 05:22 AM)xsysrqx Wrote: No, I didn't know. how would I go about not route all the web traffic thouthg tor privoxy. The only protocols which go through it are the ones you setup to do so. If you didn't set it up, then, it's not going through it. When you're done using it, set the applications with the same proxy settings you had before you switched to Tor's settings. |
