[TUT] C# Minecraft Skin Stealer - ace3df - Aug 3, 2011

I will be showing you how people make it so that they have the same skin at 'Notch' or you.
Its a very simple Tutorial that any one can follow along with.

Click here for Video tutorial.

First of am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/10.0
Download here.

(btw its my first tutorial on the 'Hacking Forums'.)

OK. Lets get started.

1. Open your C# program and create a new project, and select Windows Forms Application. (Name the Project what you want.)
[img]http://s3.postimage.org/3aqlcp4g/image.png[/img]
.com/o0sd3n.png](Click here for image mirror.)

2. Now simple custommize your Form/program to what you want. But if you want to follow this tutorial all the way make it so you have;
(BTW! YOU SHOULD ADD THAT IT IS CASE SENSITIVE!)
  • A PictureBox
  • A Button
  • A TextBox
here is what I have made in the end.

3. Now for the coding part.
The code is very simple tbh, its just finding the site that the skin gets uploaded that is hard to find.
So if you double click on your button at in the coding space type;
Code
private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { pictureBox1.ImageLocation = "http://minecraft.net/skin/" + textBox1.Text + ".png"; }
Now am going to brake down the code to 'hopefully' make you understand why we are adding the code.
Code
pictureBox1.ImageLocation
Now this part of the code is telling the program to interact with 'pitcureBox1' and we are all-so telling it what image it should be loading by giving it an 'ImageLocation'.
Now this is the fun part;
Code
= "http://minecraft.net/skin/" + textBox1.Text + ".png";
With this part of the code we are giving it the 'ImageLocation' by making it read an image from the website. But you can see that we interrupt the link to add the username that we witch to 'steal' the skin from. Now what this is doing is loading "http://minecraft.net/skin/" and adding the username we have typed in the textbox, after it reads the username it ends off by loading the ".png" showing you your skin!

Well this was my first tutorial on the 'Hacking Forums'.
If I have done any thing wrong, just say and I will fix it!

Thanks for reading!

There should be a button, where you can apply the image to your person, cause i cant right click the picture...

That is a nice idea. But You could just add a "Save As." Button or something like that.
Try and google something like; "C# Save As Button for pitcherbox".

I believe that it is a PictureBox, not a pitcherbox. Just trying to help.

Yea, I googled it since I am learning CSharp. I made it so you can save the skin

Quote:namespace WindowsFormsApplication1
{
public partial class Form1 : Form
{
public Form1()
{
InitializeComponent();
}

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) // Leech username button
{
pictureBox1.ImageLocation = "http://minecraft.net/skin/" + textBox1.Text + ".png"; //Get skin from the minecraft website
}

private void button2_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) //Save skin button
{
SaveFileDialog dialog = new SaveFileDialog();
if (dialog.ShowDialog() == DialogResult.OK) // Save the file (opens the save file dialog, not open file dialog.
{
pictureBox1.Image.Save(@"C:\Documents and Settings\(Your PC username)\Desktop\image1.jpg", System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Gif); //Save the file as, where?

}

Yea, Pretty much as simple as it gets :)

Brilliant tutorial for beginners.
Ofcourse there's a lot of features you could add to the application, but people need to think about who it's for.
This is basic code for beginners, so it's for them to also add features.
