Public Service Announcement - Xori - Aug 16, 2011 Today I saw way too many horrible cryptography tutorials (luckily none on HF), where a fucking spastic used 'Key' and 'Mutex' synonymously, and most people probably realize where he got that idea. Mutex, has nothing to do with cryptography, it's a thread synchronization method, and when a RAT client tells you to randomize the mutex you are not feeding a polymorphic crypter like these fuckheads thought they are, you are making sure that only one instance of the same server will be running. The main source of headache - http://www.hackcommunity.com/Thread-Polymorphic-RC4-Encryption Quote:All encryptions are given a "mutex" that mutex, is static on standard encryption, while on polymorphic it is generated with each new compile. If you ever make a cryptography tutorial, atleast make sure you're not talking out of your ass. * - Source Code - Aug 16, 2011 hehe i can see someone is madddd. =] But yeah...
