Hey guys i am looking for a program that downloads youtube videos so i can start learning how to edit and effects and things. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks.

Well the most public one (that I know of) is of course youtube downloader, for music there are things such as youtube to mp3 downloader, and there are also addons for firefox,opera, and google chrome that make it even easier to download youtube videos. I've also heard of websites, or youtube extensions that may be added to help you download a video. Hope I helped!

real player is the easiest in my opinion.
when moving your cursor on a video a tab will appear over the video, you clic on it and it will download.
once it's downloaded, Real Player will give you the option to convert it to any video or audio format.

Don't download any programs. Simply put 'save' infront of the Youtube URL, for example:
http://www.saveyoutube.com/watch?v=mqafhdkVANQ

Nope.. I think the most popular downloader for YouTube is Vdownloader.
You can convert to .mp3, original file and more..
