Graphic Requests - Paid/Unpaid - kyoutu - Sep 3, 2011
I feel the Graphic Request section deserves two seperate area's for paid and unpaid work, I know many members of HF that simply only create graphics for money and scanning through endless threads of people expecting free work or you having to ask if the job is paid can be a great waste of time.
(for the designer and OP)
I guess for anyone else this idea may seem a little silly or lazy but I'm sure designers looking to make money would fully support the idea as it would simply make the section easier to find jobs.
This will also not take jobs from people who cannot pay as many do free jobs in spare time as well as all the people who simply do not make money from graphics and just do graphics for fun and free.

I support this. That section is kinda cluttered anyway, so this could help it.

There definatly would, there are many users on HF who do free work (maybe because they're very nice or not old enough to have paypal I'm unsure)
But I constantly see people saying "I'll do this for free" in a thread that is offering money, obviously this is extremly frustrating for designers looking to make money for their hard work.

I agree! I've made several designs for people promising to pay and most of them end up not paying. People here should learn how to value designers' time and our work. We deserve a section for paid work only. 👍

I usually work for free to get my skills up and so do many other people

Trust me, there would still be many designers.
Heck, even I do the odd free job for fun or when I have free time.

I support this idea! There are still members who do Free Work so.. why not.
I do free request, I've been doing them all my HF Life. Tho, this Idea is VERY nice and hopefully it gets accepted.

This is exactly what I think, It's tiring people expecting hours of someones free time for..well.... free?
This idea would hopefully encourage people to give their designers something in return as well as cleaning up the clutter and better organising the GFX request section. =]
