Hey guys,
(Sorry that I'm already asking questions/for help when I just joined here...)
Firstly just to tell you about Zinio. Zinio provides online magazines. It has all sorts of magazines, you can find whatever magazine you like. It has a reader which functions well under Windows and OSX. Through Zinio directly, you have to purchase your magazines.
So I found out for Zinio trick, which was 'discovered' about 4 years ago and was still working 2 years ago..The trick or hack was to view websites in this case Zinio.com with agent user switcher as Iphone 1.1.3(in safari browser or in firefox). So you were able to read magazines for free!

I downloaded Safari 3.1 like in the tutorial, so I didn't use the latest versions...
So does anyone know what changed that this trick doesn't work anymore?
Is there still any possible way to do this trick? Anyone familiar to this?
Or is there any other trick to somehow read the magazine for free?!
Also I'm able to view sample magazine(there are just few of them i think) through their online reader, and I actually could read it, but you need to zoom in and you have limited zooms. I just noted that if it's maybe helpful to you...
I know here are a lot of good hackers, would anyone be able to figure this out? I would really appreciate if anyone will give it a try.

yep i knew this, just try with another handheld device as usergent example android also check if you can see the source on where is the magazines stored on server and check if you find some pattern on the filenames.

hmmm well there's no other device to choose as user agent..There's just iPhone or iPod touch. Or I should create it myelf? I mean you can type a custom user agent string..?

Don't really know how i should do that...I mean If I go to the product page of the magazine and look into page source i can't find some useful stuff about the product, just maybe this :
meta property="og:site_name" content=
meta property="fb:app_id" content=
meta property="og:url" content=
But if I view the image location of the magazines, everyone has the same number at the end.
Example: "http://imgs.zinio.com/magimages/500618902/2011/416185456_370.jpg" - they all have 370 number after the '_'...
Any ideas? i don't have any :/

Believe me I always do a search before I post questions. A BIG search. And all I found are tutorials from the past years. Actually my first aim why to register here is because of this question I have, that's why I joined here, that was the biggest reason. I thought I could find help here or someone could trick Zinio again..

Thanks for the link. I looked at it, but If I got this right, there are just 3 device switchers for mobile and I copied the string to make a new user agent but didn't really work.
Maybe this is the problem(after the iphone 1.1.3 switcher installed you go to that link) :
http://imgs.zinio.com/iphone/ - Just index of files in iphone folder is showed up.
Really don't know if any other user agent will get this working.
