Important Techsperts Update - The Rated R Superstar - Sep 5, 2011
As it stands, we currently have 50 members in TS. I have deliberately kept it small for a reason. That reason being that my group is meant to be as HQ as possible. But recently I've noticed a trend, a lot of HQ members are getting denied because they have warnings/limitations/bans at the time the applications are accepted/denied.
Now as some of you may know, the time between when I close the thread and when the applications are actually done is around 3 weeks. I am aware that a lot can happen in that amount of time and for some it may be hard to keep a clean record for that long. That is why I am offering this solution.
From now on, if you are denied based on the fact that you had a warning/ban/limitation at the time of the applications being processed, you may PM me and ask to pay me a flat $15 AUD fee for me to look past your mistake.
Just to be clear, yes this does serve to make me some extra money. But it also serves as a way for you to get in after making a mistake. Now don't get me wrong, once in TS you will still need to follow the rules and do what we do. So don't think that paying to get in makes you exempt. I don't tolerate people just in my group for the userbar.
Other than the warnings/bans/limitations, you will still need to meet the criteria. Like I said at the start, you must have already been denied for having a warning/ban/limitation. However, if you would like to apply while having a warning you may pay for that also. However, since that didn't happen while you were waiting to be accepted, it will cost $20 AUD. Before payment, I would need to verify that you actually meet the criteria in which to be accepted. If you meet the criteria and I accept you, you will still need to follow the rules and do what is asked of you.
Whether or not people choose to take this offer is completely up to them. I am merely offering another way to gain access to Techsperts.

Quite an interesting idea, don't see anything wrong with it per say.
Perhaps some other leaders may start doing this as well.

As I was accepted the other day and then denied due to my warning level would I be eligible for this?
I'm sure I could gather some money within the next few days as I was very enthusiastic about getting into TS and was sad to hear about being denied due to my warning level.

You don't have to pay. It's more for impatient people. The alternative is to wait until your warning expires, re-apply and try not to get a warning in the time it takes for applications to be processed.

Yes, you're the specific example I'm talking about. You had 0% at the time of application and when the applications were processed you had a warning level.

Yes, but at the same time, it is mainly to gain more members.
Members that were accepted, but are now given a second chance to get in the group with the warning/limitation.

Does this only apply to people with warning levels, or can any denied member also pay $15 AUD to join?
