[TuT]How to make a Xbox.com Login[VB.net] - deiski - Sep 23, 2011

Hello fellow hackforum's members..
I am making a tutorial on "Xbox.com" Login just because since school is finished for 2 weeks.
I got some extra time to do!
So please enjoy this!

First.
We will need to insert 2 textbox's and 1 button and a webbrowser.
Insert all of these things. Resize them however you want.

For the webbrowser go into the properties on the left thing And find URL and insert this in
Code
https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1316813093&rver=6.0.5286.0&wp=MBI&wreply=https:%2F%2Flive.xbox.com:443%2Fxweb%2Flive%2Fpassport%2FsetCookies.ashx%3Frru%3Dhttps%253a%252f%252flive.xbox.com%252fen-GB%252fAccount%252fSignin%253freturnUrl%253dhttp%25253a%25252f%25252fwww.xbox.com%25252fen-GB%25252f%25253flc%25253d2057&lc=2057&id=66262&cbcxt=0

Then go and double click on Button1 and insert this code.

Code
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementById("i0116").SetAttribute("value", TextBox1.Text)
That will do the Username part of it.
The password part of it will be :
Code
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementById("i0118").SetAttribute("value", TextBox2.Text)
And to click the sign in button, It will be :
Code
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementById("idSIButton9").InvokeMember("click")

I hope i have made this tutorial as best as I can.
Please don't flame me.
Enjoy!

It's nice, but it would be more professional if it was made with httpwebrequest =)

Still, nice work

* - Tristani - Sep 23, 2011

Nice tutorial, but all you could have done is to make a tutorial on the webbrowser component in general.

Correct, But that would just be a waste of time as most people would know how to do it, For all the new member's that just started, I suggest getting a Book on VB.net

Yeah, I havn't really learn't that yet. If anyone has a tutorial on how to do HTTPwebrequest, I would be highly thankful,

Very nice, But i wouldn't recommend using WebBrowsers,
Since i started using Requests instead of Browsers i recognized the
difference and i would recommend everyone else to use WebRequests too :]

If no one writes an example for this by the time I get home (about to leave in 5 or so minutes) I will write one for you.
