Jailbreaking is basically modifying the idevice's firmware which allows you to do alot with your phone. When you Jailbreak your idevice it allows you to download themes/music/games and alot of paid content for free.

I did this tutorial for QuickPwn, it's pretty much the same thing for all them all the other jailbreak programs.

If you get an error message, Google the solution. There are way to many error messages so i'm not going to post them.

If your idevice freeze in DFU/recovery mode use tinyumbrella to kick it out of that mode.

Step 1:
Connect your idevice to itunes
Step 2:
Click on QuickPwn and click run. Click the blue forward arrow, Read all the stuff then agree
Step 3:
At the top right select the firmware which your idevice is on
Step 4:
When the blue check appears click it, Top left there should be Cydia tick it so there is a check mark beside it
Step 5:
Now you need to put your idevice in DFU mode(look below), DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR IDEVICE
Step 6:
It should start to jailbreak, please wait. Might take a few minutes
Step 7:
If your idevice apple log freeze open itunes and give it a few minutes. That should fix it
Step 8:
Your idevice should now reset and have Cydia on the second page

Step:1
Download the firmware file which you want to downgrade your idevice to.
Note:
Please download the firmware version which your idevice can be jailbroken to. Firmwares can be found here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
Step:2
Download it to your desktop so it is easy to find.
Step:3
Connect your idevice to your computer,you must have itunes download on your PC
Step:4
You must now have your idevice in DFU mode.(tut can be found below)
Step:5
Once your idevice is in DFU something will pop on your screen saying idevice found in recovery mode.
Step:6
When it says that hold control and press restore, a little window will pop asking you what fireware you would like to use. Select the fireware which you wanna downgrade your idevice to.
Step:7
Now you will have to wait for your idevice to downgrade.
Step:8
Now your all done, once its done downgrade your idevice should restart automaticly.

The Power button is on the top right of the I device and the Home button is in the center middle of the device
Home button: Green Power button: Blue
Step 1
Connect your idevice to the computer and open up iTunes.
Step 2
Hold down the power button for 2 seconds
Step 3
After the 2 seconds is up, hold down the home button along with the power button for 10 seconds exactly.
Step 4
After the ten seconds, release the power button and continue holding the home button until your computer makes a noise and iTunes says that your idevice is now in recovery mode
