Difference between Logic pro and Logic 9? - Mr. Tycoon - Oct 9, 2011

What is the difference?

And which is better?

Logic pro Or Logic 9

I'm no expert, but I assume the pro means professional, which most likely means more features and whatnot.

So my guess would be Logic Pro is better..

Logic Pro is for experienced users/professionals.

I mean that the Logic 9 does not have some features that pro have.

Also @Cybr you are right about what you said :)

I use Logic pro. I also have Logic 9 express on my macbook. They are all the same basically. Pro just comes with all the apple loops, effects and VSTs.

They are essentially the same thing, Logic Studio Pro comes with some additional features for 5.1 and a few other weird things I can't even remember. Either works fine, it's better to not even bother installing the included instruments and find your own plugins. It definitely aids in getting away from sounding generic.
