Hey guys heres a quick warning.. If you find a site or computer that has like no security and shows its ip easily , literally a skids dream .. completely unsecure or a website that makes no attempt to stop you dictionary attack or something like you can literally click access admin panel with passwords... I advise to take caution when "hacking it" because recently the english government (not sure about american) has setup more than 1million sites and computer that are MADE to be hacked , so they can track and arrest people .. like NO FUD will protect you.. anything on the computer is seen as a virus and all connections will be traced.
Also sophos antivirus has over 5 million websites meant to be hacked and claim to have reported to the police over 500 thousand people who have been fined or arrested .. Watch out. If that site looks like an ape could hack it dont do it..

it is a part of the honeypot project it is very old,but yes the project get more support now days.
what i can say the hackers love honey. :)
any way their is 2 kind of honeypots,the ones that is so eazy to hack and thoes are made for bigenner hackers,and the hard ones that were made to catch the pro ones

The government created those easy-to-hack sites/computers so that they can catch the skiddies who don't even know what the hell they are doing, and just messing up with everything they hack...
I guess the REAL hackers wouldn't even bite the bait, because they wouldn't even mind EASY things. :))

1) you would never know if he was a pro hacker
2) A pro hacker would never go onto a hacking forums where he can be easily caught.
3) Why would he waste his time on here..
Maybe theres some good hackers on here but theres no pro's (like people who hack f.b.i and have 2m botnets and stuff and hack pentagon and stuff)

Actually, there's been posted hacks of google, facebook, youtube and yahoo here. Take a look around.
Most of the hacks on large websites are just XSS anyways.
But I agree, most of the people on hackforums are skids, over half don't even know a programming language yet they call themselves "Hackers" because they understand the barebones basics of SQLi and RAT's.

Doesn't mean he isn't a pro hacker.

Wrong. They are a part of these forums too help teach and observe. They just use different alias's and proxies.They don't post of their major work, and do enough to cover their tracks.
A lot of hackers are very very narcissistic and love showing off.

Look at above post about narcissistic people. Also its a great way to find members who are moving "up in the world" and recruit them to help with projects.
I have known 2 people who have had large botnets and have hacked many high security government sites.
They aren't stupid enough to post about it. But they do it none the less, and are in more than 8 different hacking sites.
also:
This is the honey pot.
Many anti-virus's will also take scanned files and run them on a "honey pot" to trace them.
FUD won't help you at all.
Proxies + TOR do not help at all.
VPN's wont help unless they have no logs, or are hosted by a "front" (Where they are never "open" so it is almost impossible for governments to contact them).

T-rom i do kinda agreee with you but not really .. i think that like the PRO OF THE PRO like "The Mentor" (Search him on google) would never sign up for HF (he hacked the pentagon like AGES ago..) and some of the new PRO OF THE PRO hackers would never sign up for HF , they would be smart enough to keep VERY quiet and get off the internet as much as possible.

#1 is contradicting. "There are no pro hackers on these sites, because you would never know if he was a pro hacker. So which means YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THERE IS A PRO-HACKER THAT EXISTS HERE ON HF.
#2 is quite correct, although somehow wrong. THEY DO GO TO THIS SITES, but they don't interact much. They might not even sign-up for an account, but I'm sure they drop by these sites, either to scan some members for possible recruitment if ever, or just to know what's the news on the hacker community, which is synonymous to the Skid World.

Being able to hack government sites, especially secure or famous ones, and own a large amount of bots doesn't make you PRO, to be honest. They are just skills, and being a PRO is not just skills, it requires the right attitude and discipline.
I don't care if someone out here would give me a -rep for this, but one thing's for sure, HackForums is a hacker community, which means IT'S NOT JUST SKIDS THAT LURK HERE, the one's you don't see are the REAL PROS.
