So recently my computer was taking FOREVER to start, stood at welcome screen, then turned on. I got a few errors. Then the wireless wasn't even getting any connections, and now im scared i got infected :(. My one thing I believe was a virus this adobe master collection thing i downloaded on torrent. Ran it in sandboxie, and it errored on me. :( I am currently doing system restore. Can anyone suggest anything that might help? :(

If you think/know you are infected.
Read and follow I am infected! What do I do?, gather up the requested logs and then make a new thread at the HijackThis Log Analyzer and Tutorials section.

post HJT log and MBAM log etc in the hijack this section so they can assist you further.

I don't have any internet connection on it... The restore process is taking forever!

Yeah depending how far back the restore is it could take a while thats normal.
If you have internet access on another computer just upload the files from that computer etc.

Ok, now it restored, restarded... All is good now, can someone just serach my computer now for any viruses quick please?

lol virus's can be any where on your computer if you really don't wanna post logs just scan your computer with an anti virus you have.

What's the best anti-virus? I am using MBAM, and SpyBot. Any suggestions?

I'd reccomend those two then avast probably its always better to scan with more than one anti virus but make sure they are not all running at the same time. Make sure you restart after each one etc. ALso take a look at your startup one reason things might be going slow could be because you have too much stuff coming up on start up so to go msconfig and uncheck the startup entries you don't need.

Yea I found an injection in /HKEY/ mbam removed, now I'm going to be scanninh with spybot. Thanks so much for your help bro. Got me through it :D
