I have kept this idea a secret until now but felt like now is good timing to discuss it.
I'm considering adding a "P0W3R" group to HF that will actually be a secondary group to allow members higher PM box and less restrictions like PM Flood, Search Flood, Reputations and other site restrictions.
PM Box: 10,000
Flood Times: 10 seconds
Reputation Power: 5
Reputations Per Day: 10
The new P0W3R group would have little to no requirements. It would be a one-time add-on of $10 paid only via LR and done automatically so I won't have to deal with manually upgrading anyone.
The group is meant to address the many requests I have for these few extras but something I still want to limit.
The group would have it's own userbar but members would not be able to set it as their display group.
I'd probably implement in the next 2-3 weeks. A few of the features I will need to write a plugin for. Also we still have to upgrade to MyBB 1.6.5 first.
So that's my idea. Any thoughts on this?

This looks like a great idea, though are you considering this the likes of Ub3r or something supplementary to Ub3r?

So you could only upgrade from ub3r to this? I think you should accept paypal for it, as well. And would you have to approve a member before joining?

It would be nice. Would there be am official color that your username will be? And will other members know that you are part of the group?

Hmm, not too bad. I like the new things you will get with it, I'd certainly get it. However, don't change the reputation. You know most people paid 18 dollars, now 30 dollars to give +3 reputation. Also, reputation is already a problem, giving people a bigger amount, same as staff would just influence that more.

You should make it only available to ub3rs, as it wouldn't be fair to allow somebody who has paid $10 total to rep that much, whereas ub3rs already paid $30+
