Sending code for a bot to execute? - Forever a phone - Dec 25, 2011 Hi lemme start with my coding skillz is not the best...at all... And I'm wondering lets say if you have a bot on a victims computer running. Can you send code to it to execute. Not commands since commands would mean the code is already on the bot and it is just waiting for activating it. I mean the bot is empty besides from that it its waiting for a command so it won't get detected. Basically sending the code to it, and I don't want to download another program and execute that, I want one application that is waiting for to receive it's code so it can execute it. I'm not asking for source or anything just wondering if it's possible and also if its possible some guideline would be cool. Thanks in advanced. * - Okey... - Dec 25, 2011 Hmmm, MABY this would be possible in VB.NET(Idk, i dont code in VB.NET) But if you make the bot include codedom, you could send a pice of code for it to compile, then execute the compiled file. * - Forever a phone - Dec 25, 2011 Ok thanks sorry but you said "Hmmm, MABY this would be possible in VB.NET(Idk, i dont code in VB.NET)" what language did you meant instead of VB.NET ? Also so it does your with CodeDom if i send a piece of code for it to compile it compiles then executes? Also some tuts would be nice but I assume I can search my self. Thanks very much. * - Okey... - Dec 25, 2011 (Dec 25, 2011 02:33 PM)Forever a phone Wrote: Ok thanks sorry but you said "Hmmm, MABY this would be possible in VB.NET(Idk, i dont code in VB.NET)" what language did you meant instead of VB.NET ?I mean that this could be possible in VB.NET with codedom use the "search" button and search in the VB.NET section after codedom * - Username1024 - Dec 26, 2011 The bot would need to have a compiler for what ever language you have the code in. It is possible, but not probable. It would take too much effort. For example : you -> send code -> bot bot doesn't know what the code is, computers do not read .c, .asm, etc. files by themselves - they need to be assisted by a compiler / IDE. * - eKKiM - Dec 26, 2011 you can achieve this by embedding scripting languages into your bot. I did this once with python for a project i can't even remember. It isn't that hard with python. Many examples and good documentation. You should read: http://docs.python.org/extending/embedding.html * - Forever a phone - Dec 26, 2011 thanks so much guys for the info, I'm planing on learning a decent language and from there build on with it. At least I know it's possible. Thanks in advanced, * - Silicon - Dec 26, 2011 I know Lisp can do this but that isn't ideal for writing that sort of stuff in. Lua is probably a better alternative to Python simply down to it's flexibility, tiny size and ease of adding methods and getting results from the code. Use LuaInterface if you're using .NET. You can use it in C and C++ too but that's another story. * - DexHacker - Dec 26, 2011 Oh man, have you not heard of shellcode (do not be mislead by the name shell) see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shellcode Its very simple and there lots of example around. * - Forever a phone - Dec 27, 2011 Thanks so much all for all this very good information. * - Pseudonym - Dec 28, 2011 This would be very easy with any dynamic programming language which has eval. For instance Lua, Perl, PHP(not totally sure about effectiveness of this one), Python, Ruby. |
