I accidentally posted this in the Beginner section, but I think it belongs here. If an admin could remove the other one that'd be great.
We will be using Project Neptune. You can download Project Neptune for free at http://project-neptune.net/
Now, only download things like this from the official website. Like the one above. Don't worry, it isn't backdoored, this is the official website.
Note: This is only for the people just starting out, if you've already keylogged someone, this tutorial is not for you.
So, you're a complete newbie to this stuff. You open Project Neptune and you see this. You don't even know where to start. Relax, this is probably the easiest 'hack' you will ever learn.
Keystrokes
Log Settings
Now, the only thing that is all you need to edit is the time interval between log sending. I recommend NO SHORTER THAN 30 MINUTES. Why? Because you get to many logs and you might run out of email space.
Email Settings
So first, you're going to want to setup a gmail account. (If you're at the level of this tutorial, you shouldn't mess with FTP) So in the first section (Keystrokes) type in your Gmail username in the "Email to Send Keystroke Logs" and the "Email to Receive keystroke logs" and type in the password inside the password box.
Just to be safe, click "Test Email Account Information" If you typed everything in correctly, then it should alert you with a box
System Wide
Startup Settings
If you disable the task manager it will make your virus much harder to remove. However, your victim might be alerted and not log in to their accounts, which obviously is what you want.
Installation Directory
After execution, this is where the core process of your virus will move to.
I recommend either the Appdata folder OR the system32 folder.
Original File
If you really want that virus to stick, you're going to want to go with the "Delete/Melt" option. This option makes the virus immediately dissapear
on execution. However, your victim will most likey be very alarmed.
File Downloading
If this option is enabled, on execution of your virus, your victims computer will automatically download something else. (Whatever link you entered) A great way to spread multiple Botnets or RATs.
Extra Options
I personally think everything in this section is self explanatory. However if you still need help, shoot me a PM!

Server Settings
These are all option which may make your virus more realistic. If you enter some fake info making it look like some Microsoft operation you victim will most likely not remove it.
Server Creation
Now, just click "Generate New Server" and save it.
Your new server should appear in your Project Neptune directory. You're all set! Upload the virus to something like Megaupload and whore that link out as much as possible! Now DON'T CLICK YOUR SERVER! This is very bad practice because you will spam your email with your OWN logs. Which waste your inbox space which could have been used for other people. If you strong need to test it, then run it under a Virtual Machine or use Sandboxie.
Oh, and don't mind the -1 rep. It was REALLY stupid.

If you use a Gmail account, leave it alone. If you use something like yahoo then simply google the SMPT server for it. I still recommend Gmail because it's just a better email site. ;D

Alright, I got that. Now , I'm sorry if I sound a bit dumb as I am new to all this.
I got my E-mail working.
Is there a tutorial on this because I'm not sure how to send logs and stuff like that.

Just send it to people and if they execute it, it will automatically send you via email the logs of that person.

think once it is opened it automatically sends packets every 30 mins. i could be wrong im new too.

Yeah, it's either 20 or 30 minutes between emails in the default setting. You could change it though.

I tried including screenies with imageshack but the error icon comes up. Don't know why.

I said in the OP if you want to test it you should run it under a sandbox for easy termination. Since you didn't then just use your anti virus to remove it.
