Which i7 is this?
The intel server board runs Xeons
Why do you need 64 gb ram?
Why only one graphics card?
Why 8 hard drives when the board only has 6 connectors?
If you really want RAID, why not a RAID card?
Overall i think the build is pretty retarded.

Overall I know absolutely jack-shit about this... was hoping for some type of help.

So in response:

It has 8 internal 3.5" slots
I agree, and thats why I asked.

My advice, spend less on the processor, spend more on the GPU, get SLI 570's or CFX 6970s

Also 8 drives is retarded.
Having 8 drive slots doesn't mean it will support 8 drives, some of them will fry.
That mobo doesn't even have 8 connectors.

Thank you for all of that. I don't really know enough to do this quite yet. I will slowly build it as time goes on.
Plus, I want to stick with my case... Just saying.

This includes monitor, mouse, and keyboard.

IT IS THE BEST COMPUTER EVER!!

* - suRge - Dec 26, 2011

I am going to try again, and please critique it. I will post it tomorrow. It will mostly be based off of either Aldo's or Amar's.

* - akeid - Dec 26, 2011

You should have two 6970s and a 3930k.

* - Yeezus - Dec 26, 2011

The video card is going the bottle neck the hell out of that processor.

Hopefully Imm will have his recommended build but most likely he build will be similar to the one I posted, only thing for sure I know he might add different is a NXT Phantom for a case

Excuse me but how the fuck does a video card bottleneck a processor?

Why the fuck does he need 6 cores and 6 virtual cores?

i5 2500k is 100% fine, unless he is going to be doing rendering then he should get an i7 2600k

If by this you mean film rendering, then yes. I definently plan to do so.

I updated the build I posted with an i7 2600k

That's a stupid build

1000w for a i7 2600 and a single 560Ti?

The i7 2600 has a locked multiplier so if the OP wants to squeeze more juice out the CPU by overclocking it he cant

Also horrible case ans PSU for a build of this price

Also your missing storage and optical drives
