[Tutorial/Tour] How to pick your distribution. - TheBarret - Jan 2, 2012

Came accros this simple but effective script/website where you take a small tour to determine what kind of distro suits your preferences.

Goto: http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/index.php?select_lang=true

These are easy qeustions, on the end you can see which one is best for you.

For all the ppl that make threads on "wich and what distro shall i pick" please take this tour!

Little chart of what major route the distro came trough

For the real BIG list (2.7MB PNG) of all up-to-date distro's, click here:

p.s: My results where: Debian, Fedora, and OpenSUSE (lol?)

Thanks, I have been wondering what i should get kinda new to this OS but I like It.

I took the test and its really great, i always liked open suse and it is in the results :). I also got ubuntu, kubuntu, mandriva and linux mint

* - Ɓaldy - Jan 2, 2012

I got
Linux mint 100%
Ubuntu 100%
Mandriva 100% not sure what this is
OpenSuSE 100% Don't know what this is either

95%
Kubuntu
Fedora
Have heard about these both but don't really know much about them.

Looks like a good site with potential to give users a good idea on what operating system suits them the most.

Likewise.

There's a thread from awhile back with the same quiz in it.

I think they updated the distro list, some said it updated with the famous "bt5" (or likewise distro's) wich isnt true i think.
