Centos 6 32 bit or 64 bit - ᴀpex - Jan 3, 2012 Hello I have just purchased a VPS to setup Viking script on for DoSing, but I'm having a problem. From what I know it's Centos 6 but I don't know if it's 32 bit or 64 bit, I have tried searcing but it doesn't really show anywhere. So quick: When I set up a DoS script does it have to be 32 bit or 64 bit? * - Vater - Jan 3, 2012 It does not really matter what type of os you use. * - ᴀpex - Jan 3, 2012 Really :i sudo apt-get install perl just doesn't work for me, it keeps telling me that apt-get is not a command. * - Io0oI - Jan 3, 2012 in the shell type : uname -m or check a binary file * - -Matatan- - Jan 3, 2012 (Jan 3, 2012 12:03 PM)eXawn Wrote: Really :i sudo apt-get install perl just doesn't work for me, it keeps telling me that apt-get is not a command. That's because Centos does not use apt-get to install packages, that is an ubuntu command along with other unix flavors. Centos use "yum" for the installation of packages. so try: Code yum install perlthought, perl is probably installed already, maybe you are just missing a module of perl. |
