Weekly Review #1-Midori no Hibi - Dr Achtogonapus - Jan 24, 2012
It may be a little early but I just finished so I figure I'll just do it now.
Midori no Hibi
My first impressions on this were pretty mixed. I felt that maybe the intro was rushed a bit in introducing characters and what not. Characters were not introduced via narrator but through events going on. For example Sawamura Seiji was introduced by an enemy calling him out to fight by his nick name, "Demon Right Hand" and later his real name. Drawing style was good. Smooth flow and soft textures. The first episode set the pace for the hilarity that would soon be following through out the entire series. The voice acting was done perfectly, for example, characters were never monotonous or were never too loud or quiet based on what the character was doing, it all seemed very accurate. There was an episode that seemed like it may be a filler but it was actually good unlike most fillers. It was still funny and stayed on the theme of the anime. It made me think from time to time about my own personal life and how I was leading based on this anime, not directly but in a meaning sort of way. I honestly don't really have anything bad to say about this at all, really. Mainly the intro was a little gripe with me but not too much. Maybe the series could have gone longer. The way other characters saw the main character seemed a little extreme to me but I sort of ignored for the main part, because it wasn't really important at all. Other than that it was a pretty good anime overall.

Recommendations- My personal recommendations would be Chobits, Toradora!, and in a way Shuffle.

I like it man, Ill check this series out when i get a moment. As for suggestions i think it would be a good idea to review the whole thing under headings like: Plot, Art, Characters, Overall etc etc.

Thanks guys! Tase, I really couldn't think of a good format so I kind of just threw it all in there ha. Now that you gave me criteria I should be able to design it better and cleaner.

Yeah I agree with Tas, using different fonts, colors and such will make the review look better and let you're good writing pop out even more. And general HQ goes up.

Nice review, how many EP in this series?
OT: To make it look nicer, maybe write it on Photoshop with a nice thread design and just post the image.

Sorry forgot to post that. It's 13 episodes. And about the design, nor do I have Photoshop or the skills to be able to do that. I would if I could but I just can't :c.

Nice review there. Quite detailed and gave a good description of the anime. In the future I would recommend splitting each part of the review into paragraphs and giving a colour code for each paragraph to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Other than that it was a good review :3
