Best compiler for Linux/Ubuntu - SmellsGood - Feb 5, 2012

I just installed Linux and was looking for a nice compiler besides CodeBlocks. Thanks

CodeBlocks is an IDE. The standard compiler for Ubuntu is gcc (I thnk). The IDE I use for my Linux drive is Geany.

Myself , I like Netbeans with the C/C++ plugin. GCC is assumed with Linux.
