For the review this week, I have watched Ro-Kyu Bu! A comedy, ecchi that aired late summer of last year.

OVERVIEW

Hasegawa Subaru is a high school student that was an excellent basketball player, and even helped coach his own team. Until he could no longer play because the school had to disband the team. After losing faith in basketball, he was asked by a teacher at a local elementary school, that also just so happens to be his Aunt, to be the coach of the girls basketball club. Well I guess you could say he was more blackmailed into doing it. Anyways the deal is he coaches the team for three days and his Aunt doesn't blab about his secret. He heads over to the school for the first day of coaching only to find out the team is absolutely terrible, aside from one girl who is extremely good. Throughout the three days he finds himself more attached to the girls than he had intended to be.

CHARACTERS

I liked the character development in this anime because it seemed to go further than some animes. It was not only a mental development with some characters but also a physical development. It was nice to watch them get stronger in mind and body and watch as it played out through the anime.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Unfortunately I have not watched any anime that are close enough to this that I could recommend. So all recommendations will be from MyAnimeList.

Also if you are wondering why I did not include my Animation subject, it is because I was not able to find a download of this anime so I had to watch it on stream. Normally this wouldn't be too bad but my computer is on it's last legs and I felt like I was watching stop motion. I will try to find animes that I can download in the future.

I also have been trying to fix everything with this post, such as the random bold text, and the off font sizes. At this point I have lost my patience with it and guess what.
It is what it is.
Fuck it.

Would you classify this as more ecchi or more comedy? Also seeing the image, this series would be classified as mostly loli, correct? If so, sign me up :3

You said you would review unknown anime, this one is fairly recent...
It ran this summer, I watched it.

Try including genres in your post. Also, fix your banner.

Sorry. The way I try to find anime for this is by going on MyAnimeList and going to Top Anime and going in the 2000's. Takes forever. But if anyone has suggestions I'm all for it. And it was more on the comedy side. There were a few loli scenes in it but I had to watch censored episodes. And I usually put the genres in that first little sentence above the overview. Where it says comedy, ecchi.

I recommend watching and reviewing Bartender, as only me, Tasemu and a few others ever recommend it around here.

And everyone should see it, its just that good.

Or if that doesn't tickle your fancy go for something like Rahxephon or Chuuka Ichiban.

Marshmelllow don't hound people over every little thing. If he wants to review this then let him and quit your bitching. ^^

How many people on this forum do you think talk about shows such as Symphogear, Nisemonogatari, Mouretsu Pirates or Rinne no Lagrange (all which are currently airing) or even earlier season shows such as Denpa Onna and C? The thing is, just because it's recent does not automatically mean it's well-known. Just because you've seen it, in no way does it mean everybody has seen it. If you've seen it, good for you, but don't complain about something just for the sake of complaining.

Apologies to OP for going a little off-topic.

I like loli, but they look wayyyy too young for my liking.
Don't think it should be ecchi ._.

Anywho, nice review.

Kind of irrelevant to this thread.
There are however very few like Naruto and Bleach that have anything to do with school. Even more so when Naruto and Bleach contain minimal amounts of school themselves...

Good to see you're still hanging in there. I'm giving this series a try.

Hey thanks for all the support guys! I fortunately have already found an anime for this next weeks review, but the recommendations are always appreciated for upcoming reviews.
