[Tutorial]Using Anubis To Test Your RAT - Purple Haze. - Feb 13, 2012

Using Anubis to test your Remote Administration Tool
Today I'm going to briefly explain how to use Anubis to test your remote administration tool. I've seen a lot of people wonder exactly how to use it, so I'll explain.

First off, you'll want to go to the website, which can be found here:
http://anubis.iseclab.org/

Here's what you should see (Click to View)

Now scroll down to the bottom where you'll see this:

From here you have two options, to either upload it from your computer, or from a direct link.

NOTE: YOU HAVE TO UPLOAD YOUR UNCRYPTED SERVER OR THIS WON'T WORK!.
Once you add your server, you're going to want to fill out this box to reduce the wait time substantially.

Now click [Image: MimD5.jpg] and you should see a screen like this after you're redirected:

It may be a little bit of a wait time, but that's okay.
If done correctly, once it is finished analyzing, you should see something like this on your RAT (The bottom install):

Some things to note:
  • Make sure your ports are forwarded

  • Make sure you're uploading an uncrypted server

  • If everything is set up correctly and it's still not working, try rebuilding your server with the same settings. It may be outdated.

  • If you're still having troubles, feel free to PM me.

Thanks for updating it with an image. Now I was also thinking, what happens if you use the remote desktop function?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get a connect. And not enough posts to pm. I'm using Darkcomet5 with ports 6778 and 7889

Nice Tut mate. Out of curiosity why do you say it doesn't work with FUD servers? Several months ago I tested Anubis with FUD servers and had mixed results. By accident I found that a couple of servers showed up in DC about 15 or 20 minutes after the file had run completely. Whilst the uncrypted servers showed up at about 45% through. Maybe its to do with the crypters used. I dont use Anubis anymore but I would be Intersted to hear your thought's.

So exactly why does your server need to be uncrypted?
