USB Add Space and Memory - Crab - Mar 2, 2012 I bought a new usb that has 2gb space in it. Is there any trick to make it have 10gb memory or space? thanks * - Vereχ - Mar 2, 2012 You can't make it gain memory, it has to do with the way it is built. You can though, make it lose space. * - Windows 7 was my idea - Mar 2, 2012 Lol im sorry that is a silly question. You buy 2gb and thats what you'll get man. If you want more save up a bit more money and get a bigger USB drive. * - Crab - Mar 2, 2012 Lol thought there was a trick or a program that adds diskspace. i guess i was wrong * - Windows 7 was my idea - Mar 2, 2012 (Mar 2, 2012 03:10 PM)Ritler Wrote: Lol thought there was a trick or a program that adds diskspace. i guess i was wrong You might be thinking of turboboost( think thats what its called ) which its supposed to add virtual memory via your usb or sdcard etc. but in my opinion its hardly noticeable. * - walid562 - Mar 2, 2012 (Mar 2, 2012 03:16 PM)Windows 7 was my idea Wrote: You might be thinking of turboboost( think thats what its called ) which its supposed to add virtual memory via your usb or sdcard etc. but in my opinion its hardly noticeable. It actually just stores your cash memory files on that turbo thing, it doesn't expand your actual RAM memory... * - Windows 7 was my idea - Mar 3, 2012 (Mar 2, 2012 11:11 PM)walid562 Wrote: It actually just stores your cash memory files on that turbo thing, it doesn't expand your actual RAM memory... Well i know it doesnt expand your real memory i know that. i didnt say that i said virtual memory which is different but i was just guessing in my post fot the most part it concerns the page file doesnt it? * - synsic - Mar 3, 2012 think you guys mean Ready Boost?? and yea, it's a joke. Nothing will beat physical RAM speeds. * - Blud™ - Mar 3, 2012 Yeah you were wrong you should close this thread. |
