Start with a size, Im using sig size.

Then Enter In some Text, I used my name and choose what ever color you want.

After that Go into Layer Style and go to Outer Glow, Set the size at a number below 10, and the spread at a number above 50, and set the glow color to whatever color you want to be surrounding the text.

Then it should look like this

This can be used for any color and any font.

Your sig says "I make GFX With Photoshop CS5"

That's actually CS5 Mac Version go get a mac and learn your stuff.
And Baghead dont be rude to be honest your designs are basic stuff done with paint. Get some skills then judge someone else's work.

That's not the correct way to use Outer Glow. If you're trying to do what you're doing, you're supposed to use Stroke.
