cybergate, ports open but server wont work,What could the problem be? thanks - simpson7647 - Jan 15, 2010 hi all i have set up the ports on my router and modem to allow port 12345 for cybergate and the ports are open. But i create a cybergate server and try to deploy on myself and nothing happens :S Ive filled in the info on the DNS (or whatever it is) and followed tutorials :S Its worked previously on my other computer but no luck on this one, the ports are open so that isnt the problem. Suggestions, what the problem could be??? thanks all :) * - iDecrypt - Jan 15, 2010 Firewall, make an exception or just turn it off. * - Shinoda - Jan 15, 2010 And if it isn't the firewall, look if you filled in the correct password * - stylo_asif - Jan 15, 2010 try To Use Low port Like 1020 or 2030 Like that You Can Use 4 Figure Port After You see Your Port Is Open Or Close This Site will Help you http://www.canyouseeme.org If Your Port Is Open Then See The Port Password Must Be Same Default Password is cybergate See If the Same Then Save And Try Again With the Crypter ... The file needed to be opened by someone on a different network, I used my friends computer and it connected right away. However when I try to open the server on my Laptop, with no AVs or anything I get no connection. Hope this helps. * - Sector9 - Jan 17, 2010 If you are using Linksys you might have to enable DMZ * - simpson7647 - Jan 17, 2010 thanks for your replies. I origionally tried it to log myself when i previously had cybergate working and it worked so im guessing it should work again?? And scanton, i have a linksys and the DMZ option is enabled. thanks all * - tr¦k³³ d¦k³³ - Jan 17, 2010 (Jan 15, 2010 05:52 AM)simpson7647 Wrote: hi all i have set up the ports on my router and modem to allow port 12345 for cybergate and the ports are open.
