Bejeweled Blitz Bot - Meerkat. - Mar 25, 2012 Yesterday (?) someone posted a video of a Bejeweled Blitz bot, getting a monsterscore of over one million points. I was thinking wether it would be possible to make one in VB.Net and turns out it wasn't even that hard. My highest score I reached was 884900. Perhaps with some tweaking it could get more, but meh, my job is done here ;) Perplexity's code looks neat and tidy. While my code is understandable, I'm pretty sure it won't be very easy to change things. Once you know how it works though, it will be easy to change things. There's a weird bug I can't seem to get fixed. Sometimes the bot becomes slow and doesn't seem to solve any patterns. Also, special gems (powerups, multiply thingies, ...) don't get detected, so that may cause the bot to stop. Just solve a move manually to let it continue. How is that hard to detect? :p * - hoilori - Mar 25, 2012 Bot doesn't do anything? I opened the exe in debug folder, then set bounds and tried to click solving on, but nothing happened. * - Perplexity - Mar 25, 2012 (Mar 25, 2012 10:57 AM)UbbeLoL Wrote: What's a "special gem"? 4 in a row? How is that hard to detect? :p If you played the game you'd know :3 Special gems are created when you get 4 or more in a row, or they could be gems that increase the score multiplier. * - Meerkat. - Mar 25, 2012 (Mar 25, 2012 10:59 AM)hoilori Wrote: Bot doesn't do anything? The location has to be spot on. Start the game (where you see the gems) and move it so the preview matches the gems. BTW, new high score after some more improvements :D |
