DroidSheep Tutorial - Derrick420 - Mar 27, 2012
This is a very easy tutorial on how to use DroidSheep.
Since it is no longer on the Android Market download the .apk from:
HERE!!!!
You must have permission to install 3rd Party Apps enabled on your phone.
Your phone must be rooted and have BusyBox installed.
Now to the tutorial.
Connect to a public wifi network.
Run DroidSheep and you will get a screen like the following:

Make sure you have ARP spoofing and generic mode both checked.
Then select run.
After a few seconds it will capture Internet Sessions.
Like the following:

Now if you select a hijacked session it will show a menu like the following:

Select one of the options will do:
1. Will open the session in browser, letting you to browse the session.
2. Will remove the hijacked session from the list.
3. Will add the host (website) to the blocked list. (good for adds that pop up)
4. Will export the cookies in the hijacked session to a specific email address.
5. Will save the cookies from the selected hijacked session.
Now lets select option 1.
It will browse the selected session like the following:

It worked cause you can see im signed in as DerrickDroid.
The following picture is how you will know if DroidSheep is running in the background:

And that is the basics on how to use DroidSheep and hijack a session.
This concludes my tutorial on how to Hijack a Session using DroidSheep on a public wifi signal.

Good tutorial I guess, You don't explain very much about Generic mode, which you could if people don't know. And there's no reason to cover up the IPs, it just looks messy.

Good tut. Not sure if that was necessary though. The app is pretty self explanatory and easy to use. However, I do not have busybox, and droidsheep runs just fine. Does need to be rooted though. Anyway, nice clean tut. Thanks

This actually works. Dam Ima try this at school. If you're using it on you own network just refresh a page that you're logged into and it'll come up :)
