I was wondering if it is possible to hack by messing with the coding of the website to log in into accounts of websites. I've done my research and have found nothing so far.
I also have the fireforce extension for firfox. I was wondering, how do I use it to hack XBL accounts. I can't find out how to properly use it. Any tuts would be nice :)

Define software. You could just use brute force scripts in perl. Also sql injection might be another one. If you mean creating something inorder to hack it as defined as "Software" then no, it's not possible. You can't go onto a site and wave your magic wand, type a few words into the address bar and instantly have all the l33t passwords. However, you might be able to (and this is a very long shot because I know nothing about this) use batch. And I'm only being honest. As for the fireforce extension, it looks like some script someone wrote up to run possible and probable passwords through a login database. Load database option looks like that is the list of passwords you can choose from. How it would work (and I'm just guessing) is that you would run the program on an admin/cp login page and it will generate multiple passwords for the administrator account using bruteforce hacking. Meaning, it just keeps putting in shit until something works.

I mean like cracking into an account by messing with the website coding on the login page. Is Brute Force good? And if it is, could it hack xbl accounts?

You can't hack something without software. Remember, your OS is software too.

Short story; Highly unlikely. However, you still have your brain. Why would you not want to use software for it anyway?
