[TuT] How to add effects to only a certain part of text [TuT] - Frost Byte - Apr 8, 2012
What you will need: Photoshop
Steps:
1. Rasterize your text. (The way I do it is take the brush and click. It will give you the option to rasterize.)
2. Then select the part you want to add an effect to, right click, and click layer via copy.
3. Now add the effect you want.
REMEMBER: You can do this for a image also. Just no need to rasterize. :P

I would suggest adding picture for a more in-depth approach as this thread does come across as LQ, just because you added color does not mean its HQ.
Title is misleading, Seems to relate to vector masks... yet your telling people to rasterize text.
What if i want to add effects to something thats not text, as thats what this tutorial was gereralized towards.
