Good VPS to host PuTTy Booter on - MrPaxio - Apr 12, 2012
Ive been using 2host.com for the past month to host my PuTTy and it hit people offline pretty fast but it would'nt hit people offline who had good internet. Ive checked my 2host VPS and it shows it only runs at 9.7mb/s... Im going to buy a new VPS tomorrow and i have been looking for faster VPS and i have found one at rethinkvps.com, SHARED 1000mb/s for only $8($3 more than 2host) What would my speed be if its a SHARED 1000mb/s? and would it be worth it? if you know any good VPS i should check out in the $10 range please tell me about them :)
I have tested the download speed of the 2host VPS and it only downloads at 2.4M/s :/

For $10 your not going to find anything that great, I know a site that allows it, but its $25 monthly

The VPS i stated above is unshared as well, if it is shared you will get a fraction of the 1000mbp/s, that is because the Dedicated server is 1000mbp/s, i cant give you an exact number.
That is, because the hosting provider may over sale the server, even if they do not, i would not waste my money on it.

Thanks for the help :) could i get a link to that $25/m VPS you have been talking about? oh also how can i use Remote desktop connector to connect to my VPS? i tried to use it but it didnt work on my vps...

Well, depends on how much money you're willing to pay. A great reliable VPS is hosthatch.com. Very powerful and reliable as well. Now, some people sell cheap and strong VPSs here as well. I got a; Unmetered Bandwith, 1GB/s, VPS for about 3$ a month. You gotta look around in the Marketplace section and see what you find.
