SCU Crew - New leadership - Defined mission statement - New Group management system - - Notorious Mental - Jan 22, 2010
Greetings everyone. Omniscient dismantled SCU Crew (Scammer Clean Up Crew) 2 weeks ago. The reason(s) was obvious:
Bad administration system
Bad mission defining
'Site official" sound-like
Members getting in and out like tourists
Let's proceed on how these are fixed:

New group leaders
2 new group leaders are added to the group. Panik is no more a leader. I trust those 2 guys and I have seen them in work too. Completely under the group's guidelines and down to earth. They are great for a group management.
Their names:
Paradoxum
I am I am Bender
There will not be a problem with them as co-leaders, I assure you.

New mission define
Our previous goal sounded like we were an official group of HF set up by its staff. This is completely Wrong!
However, to avoid misunderstands, after discussing with the new co-leaders we came to this conclusion:
Quote:SCU canned speeches will be edited to sound less associated with HF in any possible way. Our agents will never PM a staff member regarding a scammer. As an alternative solution, scammers will get blacklisted and negative reputed in the marketplace. (This can be achieved by pre-caution threads on each scammer) The agents' tone will not sound like they are set from HF itself for this job, but it will show his work is voluntarily. HF staff will not interfere/ be mentioned in any way with the group. We are helping as volunteers and not as staff members/helpers.
This is our new goal. If the head administrator of the site has an objection with it, I will surely add it up there.

Recruiting
This is probably one of the most important parts. Recruitment threads proved a mess for such a group.
This is the new system we'll follow:
SCU Members will only get in by an invitation from the leaders. They will have to meet some requirements, but they will be picked carefully before they join in. This way we avoid a headache by checking recruitment threads and SCU avoids a headache too by not have to check how the members do all the time.
Agents will be 10-15 maximum and they will only be agents which leaders chose carefully.

Finally:
Omniscient mentioned about his own guidelines regarding the group. Of course, if his guidelines come to an objection with the ones stated above, I can surely change them to achieve the greatest group management possible.
The reason I am opening a thread about SCU is because omniscient mentioned that the group will be running again under new leadership and a new mission statement.
By him saying "new leadership" sounds like I cannot be a leader. However, I'd really like to see the group running again and fulfilling its purpose. Even without me in the leaders. I trust paradoxum and I am I am bender to run it. I hope you do too.

Im all for it, but i think there should be interviews instead of applications, and each member of this crew should be approved by omni or ibf.

SCUC is a good idea that'll probably be used in the future, but I reckon Omni will be putting it on hold for a little while.
